Celtic B captain is on loan signing
Friday, 10th Feb 2023Ewan Otoo arrives at the KDM Group East End Park on loan until the end of the season.
Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to welcome Ewan Otoo to the club on loan from Celtic until the end of the season. The 20 year old defender, who can play on the left side or in central defence, played against Dunfermline for Celtic B in the SPFL Trust Trophy back in November.
Ewan was eight years of age when he first joined Celtic and came through the youth system to be offered a professional contract in June 2019 at the age of sixteen.
In 2021 while on loan Ewan made fifteen appearances for Clyde, all but two were starts. The Bully Wee manager at the time, Danny Lennon was reported to have been very impressed with the young player.
Ewan is the captain of Celtic B and has started virtually all their games this season. He has played for Scotland at Under 17 level but also qualifies to represent Ghana and is available for tomorrow`s match against Airdrieonians.
