Premier Pars on Opening Night

The first ever Pars play ‘Walking Down the Halbeath Road’ is shaping up nicely with the opening night performance at the city’s Alhambra theatre on Thursday 2nd. March playing host to some special guests.

The play, written by playwright and Pars fan Mike Gibb, and directed by Calum Beaton, tells of the trials and tribulations of the fictitious Wilson family from Abbeyview, set against the triumph and tragedy of the Pars 1995/96 season.

BBC Scotland’s Brian McLaughlin will chat with some of the most influential players from that season on stage before the curtain rises. Guests on the evening include Marc Millar, Jackie McNamara, Andy Smith and Andy Tod.

The play is on from 2nd-4th March. With all three nights selling well (with a month to go, Saturday’s performance already has limited availability), there remains a limited number of tickets in the club shop at KDM Group East End Park, priced at £15 and £13.
